BIOGRAPHY

Actress and author Amandine Vincent grew up in the French Alps. She was 5 when she started to take dance classes, which she would continue for 16 years. It is through dancing that she discovered the thrill of performing on stage. In love with words, she joined an amateur theatre company when she was 14 and never stopped acting since.

After graduating from high school, she moved to Lyon where she studied theatre and literature at University.

She already had a solid training in French Classical Theatre and Verse when she got into ‘La Scène sur Saône’, an acting school patroned by actor Jean-Pierre Bacri, where she worked mainly on Contemporary Theatre.

Whilst studying, she worked professionally with various companies and performed in France and Italy. She also published her first book ‘20h21 sur quai de gare’ in 2009.

Equipped with a Master’s degree in Literature and a BA in Drama, Amandine, fascinated with languages, decided to move to the UK where she attended the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (formerly known as Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, RSAMD) in Glasgow from which she graduated in 2011.

Extremely versatile, hard-working and committed, she’s constantly trying to satisfy her curiosity and express her creativity with passion and imagination. As a bilingual actress, she’s now working all over the UK and in France.
